Privacy Policy

This policy covers TDT Productions's apps and this website (https://apps.tdtproductions.nl). In short: our apps do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data; everything an app does happens on your own computer and directly between your computer and the cloud provider you connect. Payment and licensing for direct purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy.

What our apps access

  • Read-only access to your cloud (Dropbox): the app only lists and downloads — it never uploads, moves, renames, or deletes anything in your cloud.
  • It only touches the folder you select, and writes downloaded files only to the local destination you choose.
  • No analytics, tracking, advertising, or telemetry. We operate no server that receives your files.
  • Your Dropbox token is stored only in your OS keychain (macOS Keychain / Windows Credential Manager).

Our apps contain no analytics, tracking, advertising, or telemetry. We operate no server that receives your files. This website uses no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Payments & licensing

Subscriptions bought on this website are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC), our Merchant of Record, which handles the transaction, billing, invoicing and VAT. We never receive or store your card details. Lemon Squeezy processes your name, email and billing information to fulfil the purchase under its own privacy policy. When you buy through the Apple App Store or Microsoft Store instead, that store handles the transaction and your payment data.

Account area & license management

The Account page lets you view a license and the machines it is activated on, and deactivate a machine. To do this we send your license key to a server function we operate, which queries Lemon Squeezy's licensing API and returns the result to your browser. We do not store your license key or the results; the request is processed in memory and discarded. If we later add optional email sign-in (Firebase Authentication), this section will be updated to describe it.

Third parties

Your use of a cloud provider (e.g. Dropbox) through an app is also subject to that provider's privacy policy and terms. Website hosting and the account-area function run on Google Firebase.

Data retention & deletion

On your device, the only stored item is your cloud access token in your OS keychain; disconnecting your account in the app or uninstalling removes it. Purchase and billing records are retained by Lemon Squeezy as required for tax and accounting.
