AssetSync pulls assets out of shared and external Dropboxes — straight onto the machine that needs them — without installing Dropbox and without giving up control of your files. Authorise once, read-only: it only ever lists and downloads; it never uploads, moves, or deletes anything in the cloud.

FAQ

How is this different from Dropbox's own sync?

Dropbox sync is two-way and always on — great when it's your Dropbox. AssetSync is the opposite: a one-way, read-only, on-demand pull from Dropboxes you don't control, leaving you a safe local copy and a version archive, with no client to install.

Where do I enter my license key?

Open AssetSync → the account screen → paste the key emailed to you by Lemon Squeezy. The app validates it online.

How many machines can I use one license on?

Up to 2 machines per license. You can free up a slot any time from the Account page on this site (remote deactivation).

Does it run on my media server?

Yes — that's the point. With no Dropbox client to install, AssetSync runs cleanly on media servers and show machines, with no background sync or extra accounts. If WebView2 is missing on a minimal Windows install, install the Evergreen runtime.
