Install
- Download AssetSync from the download page.
- On Windows, if you see a SmartScreen warning, click More info → Run anyway (the build isn't code-signed yet).
- If WebView2 is missing (older/IoT Windows), install the Evergreen runtime first.
Enter your license key
After buying, Lemon Squeezy emails your license key. In AssetSync, open the subscription/account screen and paste the key — it's validated online.
The 2-machine rule
Each license can be active on up to 2 machines at once. Switching computers? Free up a slot from the Account page — enter your key, then deactivate the machine you no longer use. The slot is freed immediately.
Manage billing
Change plan, update payment, or cancel from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal (sign in with the email you bought with).

How is this different from Dropbox's own sync?
Dropbox sync is two-way and always on — great when it's your Dropbox. AssetSync is the opposite: a one-way, read-only, on-demand pull from Dropboxes you don't control, leaving you a safe local copy and a version archive, with no client to install.
Where do I enter my license key?
Open AssetSync → the subscription/account screen → paste the key emailed to you by Lemon Squeezy. The app validates it online.
How many machines can I use one license on?
Up to 2 machines per license. You can free up a slot any time from the Account page on this site (remote deactivation).
Does it work on locked-down / IoT Windows?
Yes — that's the point. Because there's no Dropbox client to install, AssetSync runs on media servers and locked-down machines where the Microsoft Store and vendor clients aren't an option. Install the WebView2 runtime if it's missing.
